Holiday cottages

Originally a 18th Century granary and stables, attached to the owner's farmhouse, these Cotswold stone holiday apartments have been converted to a high standard and offer comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Home Farm is a small holding that lies in a quiet backwater of the historic village of Prestbury. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book and is reputed to be the most haunted in England. The lanes around Home Farm are said to be haunted by the Cavalier Ghost shot during the Civil War whose galloping horse can be heard thundering by! Today it is the galloping of hooves around Prestbury Park, famous for its National Hunt racing that causes more of a stir in the village.

Home Farm

Once a busy dairy farm, today, with the changes in agriculture, it supports only a small herd of beef cattle and provides livery for six horses. The Stables and Granary stand opposite the old tithe barn and form part of a colourful courtyard that has been a frequent winner of its section in the Cheltenham in Bloom competition.
